NEW YORK, October 22, 2026 – Bastion, a stablecoin infrastructure provider for global enterprises and financial institutions, today announced the appointment of Daisy Xia as Vice President of Finance. Extensive experience in financial strategy and leadership across traditional banking and high-growth fintech companies, including Revolut, Capital One, StreetShares, and MStar, positions Xia to support Bastion as the business experiences record growth marked by landmark enterprise partnerships.
“We have proudly built a team of leaders with a unique blend of institutional expertise and conviction in how essential stablecoins will be to the future of our global economy. Daisy shares those values and we’re thrilled to have her on board,” said Nassim Eddequiouaq, CEO of Bastion. “Her work across established financial institutions and fast-growing fintech companies like Revolut and Capital One has given Daisy a clear understanding of what it takes to build strong financial organizations in complex, regulated environments. As Bastion grows, having leaders who have navigated that complexity firsthand is incredibly valuable.”
Prior to joining Bastion, Xia most recently led the finance team at MStar and before that was the US Head of Strategy and FP&A at Revolut, the British multinational neobank and fintech. Earlier in her career, Xia spent over a decade at Capital One leading strategy and analytics to guide $350M+ investment decisions and product development. She joins Bastion as the company enters its next phase of growth, working with some of the world’s largest enterprises and financial institutions to integrate stablecoins into their products and financial operations. Her experience across traditional banking and fintech brings valuable perspective as Bastion continues to expand its enterprise business and strengthen its financial services foundation.
“Daisy understands what it takes to build and scale financial operations in highly regulated businesses,” said Caroline Friedman, President and Chief Operating Officer at Bastion. “As we grow our enterprise business, we’re managing increasingly complex programs and working with institutions that expect the same level of financial discipline and accountability they have internally. Daisy’s experience will be instrumental in helping us meet that standard as we scale.”
The appointment comes during a period of significant momentum for Bastion as the company expands its enterprise business. Bastion was recently selected as one of Samsung Wallet’s stablecoin infrastructure partners, providing regulated custody, compliance, and cross-border remittance capabilities, and is working with Sony Bank to support its stablecoin operations. The company also recently received conditional approval from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish a national trust bank, further strengthening its regulatory foundation as it scales to serve major enterprises and financial institutions.
As Bastion takes on larger and more complex programs, Xia’s financial expertise will play an important role in strengthening the organization and supporting its long-term growth as the company continues its commitment to building the regulatory, technology, and operational foundation required to bring stablecoin infrastructure to the world’s largest businesses.
“Bastion is at an exciting point in its growth, with a clear opportunity to help some of the world’s largest companies bring stablecoins into their businesses,” added Daisy Xia, Vice President of Finance at Bastion. “What drew me to the company was the team’s ambition and its commitment to building the regulatory and operational foundation needed to serve these institutions. I’m excited to join the team and help build a business that can support that opportunity on a global scale.”
